I actually used suede matboard that I brushed a layer of Art Spectrum Colourfix fine tooth primer on for this painting. Experimenting with the substrate I use for my oils. This one has a lot of texture to it. Paint doesn't glide on the surface unless it's thinned down with odorless turpentine. Didn't try the Walnut oil I use as a solvent.
Now, back to the easel I go ...Hi Ho! Hi Ho!
