My husband and Grandson, Nevan, was the inspiration behind this piece. We took Nevan fishing for his first time (he's 4 yrs. old) last week. He was excited about all the "awesome" things in Grandpa's tackle box. So, I set a few items out to create this work. He has several more loors to choose from to create even more paintings. Hmmmmmm I'm going to get busy.
This painting is now on display and for sale at the Keokuk Art Center, Keokuk, IA. It's part of a solo show of my pastels that is on exhibit during the month of October.
