Pastel 19"x13"
This is a commissioned piece by someone who saw my work at an outdoor art show in Fort Madison, IA this year. She sent several photos for me to work from and asked if I would not add the dogs collar in this painting. The biggest challenge here was figuring out how best to show the color of the dogs eyes . In most the photo references....eyes are almost completely white. Ah....nothing like a challenge to get the blood pumping :)
